Dycem Black Hole mat holds your cello/double bass in place. Simply place the cello mat in position and Dycem’s non-slip properties will stop your instrument slipping. There is no need to bother with strings around chair legs. The cello mat can be easily carried in a pocket or in the cello case.
Bagpipes
Dycem has become the material of choice for keeping bagpipes firmly in place. Slipping can be a problem as the covers are typically made of velveteen or corduroy. Affix a patch of reel material or some self-adhesive strips of Dycem to the outside and inside of the bag cover.
