Dycem reels offer the same non-slip properties as the mats but they are more malleable so they can easily be moulded or wrapped around any object to improve grip.
The material is available in a variety of colours including clear, which can be placed over existing surfaces without altering the design. The reel material can easily be cut to fit discreetly under items around the home.

The Reel or Roll material is the most versatile and cost effective solution as it is easily cut to any size or shape and costs less than a Dycem mat of the same size. We now produce 3 types of reel materials, each one with their own particular application:
Original Reel
The Dycem Original reel material is manufactured from a fabric base material. The Original Dycem reels are flexible. They can be cut to size and are malleable so can be easily fitted around various objects. Multi-purpose uses such as used as a jar opener, to put on a tray or on the floor.
Grip It Reel
The Dycem "Grip It" reel material is manufactured from a polyester film base material coated with the non slip technology. The "Grip It" reels are more rigid than the original and can be used where a stiffer surface is required like under writing paper.
Comfort Reel
The Dycem Comfort reel material is manufactured from a fabric base material. The soft foam texture of Dycem Comfort has been designed to give extra padding during a variety of everyday activities and can help make therapy sessions more relaxed and comfortable.
